The Thecus N7700 is factory installed with 1GB of DDR2 667 RAM. I have updated it to 2GB, all you have to do is remove the back panel. Here's how:

New firmware for N7700 is out. I wonder if they have "fixed" the kernel to allow >1GB RAM this time.
So I wrote the above yesterday.

My NAS is here. It's the Thecus N7700. Upgraded it yesterday to 2GB of RAM (how to verify that?) and flashed to the latest firmware v2.01.08 of the day.
