The sickly Koi is still not doing well.

It has fin rot and is stressed. Isolated him and dosed with more broad spectrum antibiotics. Prognosis is not good, but amazing it managed to last this long. Hopefully it'd make it through.

Found another aquarium shop with some quality looking Kois at a reasonable price. If this cowcow dies it means 3 of previous 7 is dead. Time to add more?

Also got a lotus plant for $5 at Canningvale markets last weekend. Will clean it up and plant it. $5 experiment to see how aggressive my Kois are to this plant. Need to clean up the pond too to remove some algae.

AUD has climbed quite a lot last night. Work against them I think, will probably drop 2-5c in about 2 weeks time (back to 79c ish). If this "prediction" is true, it's just speculators at work here.

Of course I want my prediction to be wrong! I want it to go to 100c before Dec. If not for the USD, let it be for the Yen, SGD and HKD.. Rise, my babies, rise!

Bad for oil though. Everytime AUD rises, price of oil goes even higher..

Can't help but think some folks in the media have double standards. People are talking about Stern Hu and victimising him, yet during the height of the political fanned anti Muslim "propaganda", some folks have been imprisoned for months and when pushed to court have the entire case thrown out wasting millions of tax payer funded money.

Australian swimming burst into the scene a year or so ago snapping all the world records. They had become the darlings and scored tons of publicity and deals. Now that everybody has caught on these suits, some folks are implying these suits should be banned. D'uh!

At the end of the day, two wrongs doesn't make it right. Eventually folks learn from their mistakes and corrected themselves. Just sad mistakes are made but nonchalantly overlooked because its to Australia's advantage. That is poor form in my opinion.

No man is perfect. And who am I to judge them anyway? I'm as bad as everybody.

Went to this place called OutBack Jacks in Northbridge Perth on Wednesday It's basically a steak house with an "outback" theme. So their idea of outback is bright lights, earthy walls and American country music on LG screens .

Did not really mind the ambience at all, but those lights, oh those blinding lights!!!!!

Can't remember what I ordered, but it has the "fiery sauce" with 4 titalating chilli icons on the menu. Truth be told the dish is totally not spicy at all!! The steak is very nice though - rusticly good, hearty and tasty. Cooked to perfection I reckon! The cut of the meat is excellent, and its amazing.

So many places in Perth can't seem to do steaks well, and OBJ is probably the best if not 2nd best steak I've had in Perth! (Disclaimer: I seldom eat steaks so my claim could well be way off base).

What I like about the place? No crowds in busy Northbridge (Wednesday night could be the reason). This place is a hidden gem and I will definitely frequent this place often if they can cook me good food consistently.

And today I wake up and I don't feel any special... So I'm not a millionaire... Upping my Lotto threshold to $50 million now. Will only get tickets if jackpot/prizepool equals or exceeds that amount.

I am still at work but multiple unverified sources have confirmed Australia's retail is only the theatrical cut. And JB is wrong. Take it what you will, I'd either rent this or order the US version if I have time that is.

And since I rather blog then jump through simple hoops to order one from overseas. It means I will not do so. Now I think renting is a good option, that is if all the stars align and I end up near a video store at the right time, right day, and right price. And if I rent, the probability of me buying this copy will be near to 0%! So thanks to some stupid decisions from bean counters they have one less BD sale. Go figure.

Unless there are more folks in this country wanting the theatrical cut than Directors Cut. My question to you is. WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH YOU!.

Update 31-July-2009. On Amazon it's mentioned a new 5 disc version will be out in Christmas. That could well be the reason why we have a theatrical cut. Whatever it is, I will wait until then, and maybe rent this one when I have time.

Folks, please don't get this theatrical cut, vote with your money.

So I have a friend who owns a Mac. She received this email and clicked on the attachment thinking it was sent by her family. End result? Somehow someone has accessed her PayPal account and withdraw money from her linked bank account.

Internet is a dangerous place. And our dear IT Minister has all his priories wrong.

It's kind of interesting to see people having the same thought... I formed an impression after reading some articles about a Monk who is involved in a court case. The articles are strongly suggesting this guy has an alter life.

And I'm surprised others agree. So I'm not the only one. Maybe he is indeed?
