Note to self: Tidy up the guest room and study. For real this time...

So I do banking with Westpac. A while back they have these banners saying we are going to re-introduce a refreshed new look banking experience, or there abouts.

So what has changed? Just the login screen, which is about as retarted as the orginal! It still retains it's clunkiness but in bigger fonts now. The grey/silver colour scheme has it's roots in Apple design, but really visibility is not good enough as the contrast is poor.

Thankfully once logged in everything is back to normal (i.e. nothing has changed).

Yesterday another Koi died. The fish just spins around in a cockscrew fashion and stressed. Apparantly this is Ick and this is the second fish to die with the same symptons.

I hope the rest of the fish are unaffected. Will do a massive water change soon and some Ick medication later today. In the mean time the fish are swimming in a broad spectrum antibiotics filled pond. Hopefully the rest of the fish can survive this.

The fish that died yesterday, it's my favourite. 2 weeks prior I isolated it and treated it as it was displaying symptoms. Turns out its already too late. RIP.

My recording for this week's GoodGame episode is botched so I watchd it online via iView this morning. Truth be told, no matter what positive spin one wants to put in, this week's episode is really silly in some places.

Alot of what was said were true. I think the writers are trying to improve the show, but they're trying too hard, and they chose to have the "too hard" bits delivered by Hex. The on air chemistry will improve I guess, and so will the reviews. A positive is they are giving longer reviews for each game now.

But everything is spoilt by this OMG moment during the interview with Matt Riley (sp?). Basically what happens is a game show telling its viewers to stop playing games and go read books. Reading books require you to think more, and not follow what set path by the game developers.

D'uh... I don't play games yet I do not agree with those sentiments, not at all.

Anyway, the show will only get better from here. Will still record it since I have tons of tuners and even more disk space.. Bwah hahahaha... Not sure I'd continue to watch it though. But I guess maybe I will, because no doubt a lot of Wii games will be reviewed. And I have a Wii! :>>

And fate has decreed I will not get XBox+Forza3... Maybe I will not get PS3+GT5 too.. Money saved is money banked.

2nd post of the day. What can I say? I just love home made Char siew! And my wife makes it just the way I like it, chunky too! More I say, more!!!!

Another 25 basis point rise again. Sure the economy is doing well, but really are we jamming on the brakes too hard too early?

Time will tell, 3.5% is still a very low rate though, but caveat is the banks' rates are much higher. Oh well, to me RBA has lost it's revelance anyway. It's sad that I can't really change banks as the cost are kind of prohibitive (I'm sure this is the same in every country).  Join the club if I'm unhappy with how the banks do their business, if only I have the money to get into it.. Never ending cycle.

It's very hard to think the economy is in trouble when I look at the excesses of the Melbourne cup, the people, the clothes they're wearing.

Why is Vettel so obsessed with buttons? Is he peeved that Button won the championship? The rules for the year are clear, if you don't agree to the rules, change to a team with the button, or stop racing as a protest.
Sure the KERS system is not fair, but bear in mind the penalties of the extra weight. And did Button win the championship with Kers?

So I watched an episode of the controversial "new direction" Good Game Saturday night. Already biased prior to watching so I know I will not love the show anyway.

But guess what? This show actually reminds me of the good old times, during my primary/secondary school days... :>> OK, how many of you have stayed up late playing games and not doing your homework?

And at school, when called upon by the teacher, to just make things up as things goes along? Sort of like Peppermint Patty in Peanuts.

Hopefully next week's material will be better, no doubt it will be... But it's not the same anymore.
