Earlier on I talk about getting a storage box for organising CDs. And here it is:

It shows how I moved from multiple CD folders into one single gigantic box. And more to spare. Well that is actually an older pic as last night I have moved all those double CD boxes into sleeves and load the space space wtih my SACDs. So now all my disc spinning audio entertainment is one single container - all eggs in one basket! Woot.

I like this product, and for $59.90 it's fair value. The downside OTOH, is now the box has turned into a create, and it's not really that easy and flexible to lug it around.

Will not be spinning discs anytime soon, I have broke my MPD player and now need to find ways to fix it up again.

Happy Chinese New Year everybody!

And yes, they are home made. And no, not by me, but my lovely wife!

For years I've been looking at baitcaster rod that's longer than > 7'. But finding one is proving difficult in Perth. They are rare, but two things stopped me from getting them - expensive and 1 piece.

I like telescopic rods because it's a single piece of equipment (even though the guides on these rods don't load the blank properly). The guides are also small which makes it suitable for overheads, but unfortunately telescopic rods don't have trigger grips.

And herein lies this fabulous product, grip-n-hook. The picture above says it all I reckon. It feels secure and firm even when using only cable ties.. Now I can use my thumb again!

I wonder how folks organise their CD collection.... The CD format is really a PITA. For one it's not really a "browsable" product as it's normally organised in such a way that we only see the casing from the thin side (i.e. that small 7mm or so) and not the album art itself. Add to that  the "holder" in the middle that holds the CD and the hinge itself breaks very easily.

Anyhoo, decided to throw away all jewel cases and use CD folders instead. But it's becoming very unwiedly and pretty hard to organise everything.

So I have just purchased a 1000 CD organiser case. Hopefully it will work well.. If not, maybe I should get one of those Imation CD carasoul?

This pic says it all... :) Wild, wet, and beautiful! Wish I can go back down there again.

If you see a ton of errors in the following syslog:

CIFS VFS: Received no data, expecting
CIFS VFS: Received no data, expecting
CIFS VFS: Received no data, expecting
CIFS VFS: Received no data, expecting

Most likely you are using kernel v3.0 or v3.1.. Upgrade to v3.2 and it will be gone.

I'm living in Australia, my NA7004 is purchased in Singapore. And it still works for me, location wise I put London, put in my serial number and MAC address, and put private for everything else. And it still went registered.

Now that it's updated I don't get that bugging me anymore. Too bad i don't actually own any Mac products to make use of it.

From what I can gleamed looking at the one page manual, it's exactly like the PlayTo feature of DLNA, with an Apple fancy name...
